Wait, we're talking about acual pancakes right? AKA Hotcakes.. I also just realized that your Pancake Tuesday/Shrove Tuesday is the same as our Fat Tuesday.

Wow, researching English Pancakes is very interesting. So, you guys roll them up into a crêpe type of thing? Rather than just eating them flat like we do here in the US.

Which I guess is consistent with the rest of the US. Nice and flat so they can be stacked so the fat asses here can eat 7 at the same time >.>

ROFL, I just realized that too....Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday = Pancake Tuesday. I'd have to say butter and maple syrup, maybe some jam. I really prefer the Mardi Gras cakes myself (a French/Creole creation) that we have here in Louisiana, the only real Mardi Gras celebrator!

I am a Maple Syrup and butter fan. My kids like to try all of the different syrups that are at pancake restaurants when we visit one, but I still just need that maple taste.
