Hello friends, this is Lieutenant Junior Grade Zero from Starfleet.

I just wanted to inform you that I am setting up an "Improved" version of Bridge Commander, that should remove most of, if not all graphics lag. When I finish and upload the file to a hosting service, I just want to know how you would want me to send it? If needed, I can easily PM the link to an admin to pass around to everyone.

All you need to do is fix the intrepid. It's a lag whore.

I have completed the first "Update" in which I fixed the ships.

You see, the issue with the Intrepid is that all of the ships use a file called TGA to store the textures. I have a program that I use that can resize those textures. The Intrepid uses textures that are over 15MB in size, at a resolution of 2048 X 2048.

Trip, I will PM you the link with instructions. I dont want to make this a visitor's post, as I want to keep it with [SF] and [UFP].

Its not really a modification, just an edit to reduce graphics lag. There is no change to the core game files. I already PM'd Trip with the download link and instructions.

Let me put it this way. With my files, the intrepid will probably never lag your game again.

Congratulations on your awards. Just a bit of trivia for you, did you know that the Order of Starfleet ribbon you received was created by [UFP]Fleet Admiral Jesse while he was in [SF]?
