Request to the Fleet

Officers and Honored Guests,
Some of you may remember me from a year or so ago in which [UFP] was a different place while others know me from more recent times including post [DFP]/DD war. While in those days, I did some pretty bad things that made many people in this fleet, rightfully so, angry. Though I have reconciled with the people of whom I directly offended, all of which I don't think are in the fleet anymore, the people whom I indirectly offended are still here, some of which, are wonderful people who shouldn't have had to put up with such bigotry and nonsense.
I have spoken to quite a few officers in this fleet who have encouraged me to return, though I'm not sure if they are all still here, this list included people such as Invincible (Adam), Whiskers (Craig), Ciaran, and so on. It seems, people are willing to put the past behind them, and give people second or third, or fourth chances. However, this doesn't mean everyone is willing to do that which is why I'm writing this speech today. Many people have encouraged me to rejoin the fleet, however, it would not be right to join the fleet with an overwhelming objection from the officer body since, as I stated before, the words of few don't represent the whole.
Saying that one "sincerely apologizes" usually means that the apology isn't very sincere. However, I do hope you will accept this apology and allow me to return to fleet, especially in this time of renewed interest in Star Trek gaming. I believe what Fleet Admiral Picard said when I just spoke with him is accurate about this fleet: "We are good at giving second and third chances." To that, I would add: "It's that forgiveness that allows this fleet to be the best in Star Trek gaming."
Signed,
Janeway
